John (New Jersey) is bending binding for the Acoustic he is building

Gavin (Alberta) is filling and sanding the sides on the Acoustic he is building

 

Gunnar (Iceland) is into week 3 of his One year program, he is working on a repair with instructor Mike Jarvis. 

January 2014 - End of the month

-Walnut body with Maple and Rosewood neck

 

 

 

 

Tom (British Columbia) is finishing his Acoustic and his custom 10 month course

 

 

Chris (British Columbia) is building a Fan Fret 8 string electric guitar

-Canphor Burl top, Northern Ash back, New Guinea striped ebony fingerboard

 

Jesse (Wisconsin) is starting in the Repair Department as part of the One year Master Program

-working on slotting nuts and set ups

December 2013 - Big Sugar visits the studio and the guitar school

Gordie Johnson and Stephane "Bodean" Beaudin of  Big Sugar came to Summit for a visit. Matt Barber was a former student at Summit and has since been managing and teching for them.
