October 2009 ( week 4)

This is HS' last week, he will be done the six month course and heading back to South Korea. He is doing some final work on his Fred Carlson inspired guitar.


Cody (Saskatewan) is gluing the jig up for his next project, an Acoustic guitar

Tyler (Alberta) is working on set ups in the repair department.

Dylan (Nova Scotia) has finished up the practice necks for his Bass and is on to the real thing

Ian (British Columbia) is working on the bridge for his Acoustic (see below)

This is Ians last week of school. He has completed the six month course.

October 2009 -Week Two

Justin (British Columbia) starting out in the repair department

Brad (Ohio) is in his second month of repairs

Tyler (Alberta) is starting in the repair department as part of his one year master program

Nathan (Alberta) is working on his solid body
Patrick (Manitoba) is bending sides for his Banjo

HS (South Korea) is finishing up his Acoustic and the Six Month Program here at Summit

Joe (Ontario) is jiggin up, bending and gluing....

Joshua (California) is about to start another project. What a nice Bass

Wyatt (Washington) is ready to do some routing

Congratulations Denny (Has it been 10 years?)

Hello and Happy Kopptoberfest!!!
I find it hard to believe that 10 years has gone by since I first landed on that island!
50+ guitars and still going strong. I thank you soooo much for the experience at Summit. And you more so, Sig, for talkin' me into staying on for that last month to build an archtop. Really changed the direction of my life. Not sure if you know about it or not, but Kopp String Instruments will belisted in the 2009 Vintage Guitar Magazine Price Guide. My little company...listed in the blue book....wow! Anyway....Thanks again.
And I'll be talkin' to you again soon.
